The 1st of August 2025 marked a momentous occasion where YTL Foundation trustees, alumni, family members and scholars all came together to welcome the new scholar cohort. During the induction ceremony, each scholar received their certificate from our Trustee, Dato' Yeoh Soo Min and Programme Director of YTL Foundation, Dato’ Kathleen Chew. 

Dato’ Yeoh Soo Min and Dato’ Kathleen Chew also delivered heartfelt speeches to congratulate them on their success and encouraging them to embrace every opportunity to learn, grow, and give back.

Prior to the induction ceremony, the scholars also took part in an onboarding session to acquaint them with YTL’s values and culture and to foster collaboration between the scholars.

This ceremony is only the first step of an exciting journey. Through this prestigious scholarship program, each scholar will be supported and equipped with resources that will help them succeed as students and future leaders.

The 2025 scholars were invited to a full-day workshop followed by an Induction Ceremony.

The scholars were introduced to the YTL Values and the 5Cs (Communication, Creativity, Critical Thinking, Character and Collaboration), necessary tools to encourage them to foster a healthy relationship amongst themselves as YTL Foundation Scholars. The scholars also had the opportunity to conduct a Story Walk, where they shared their dream for themselves and Malaysia in smaller groups.
