Partnerships with the YTL Group, Media Prima, News Straits Times, AUO SunPower, and the Bank of Tokyo have enabled YTL Foundation to build 120 Frog Classrooms across Malaysia.
SJK(T) Ladang Edinburgh students will be able to use the Frog Classroom both during and after school hours.
The classroom serves as a comfortable and resourceful learning space for students to improve their ICT and study skills.
Headmistress, Theresa Ayyakkannu believes that the classroom makeover will gradually improve the quality of education in the country as it promotes holistic learning beyond the traditional classroom.
Kamalanathan, meanwhile, believe such classrooms is a pre-cursor to what Malaysian education could be like in the future.
“What we witnessed today is how this Frog Classroom can be used as a catalyst for 21st century learning.
“This afternoon, we had a glimpse of how classroom learning can be further supported through assigned work via the Frog VLE, as well as self-paced practice via quizzes on Frog Play,” Kamalanathan said.
Kamalanathan said the world of learning continues to evolve rapidly and it was encouraging to see everyone play their part.
“We all have a role to play and I congratulate the school leadership, teachers and parents for coming together to provide these kids with a learning experience that supports their different needs.”
