PEMIMPIN GSL, formed in 2017 upskills school leaders through workshops, coaching sessions, professional development plans and networking. This was a programme we incubated through its initial years.

The first cohort launched in 2018 and comprised school leaders from 25 schools. They attended workshops and coaching sessions for two years to improve their teaching and technology skills. Subsequently, they were taught how to implement them in their respective schools.

In 2019, PEMIMPIN GSL collaborated with PINTAR Foundation to launch the Pintar Leadership Programme for School Leaders. 25 schools from around Malaysia came together for the event.

In 2020, the second cohort of the school leadership programme was launched, involving 45 schools from the Greater Klang Valley. During the pandemic, the programme was conducted online, which gave the opportunity to reach more schools around Malaysia. PEMIMPIN GSL collaborated with PINTAR Foundation once again to launch the Online Pintar Leadership Programme, this time reaching 75 schools from across Malaysia, making it the largest online leadership programme at the time.
